This project was my answer to an assignment to prototype a new experience with time. The idea came from those clocks where the colon separating the hours and minutes blinks to count off seconds. I meshed the idea with that of a traditional hourglass and had the blinked colons become grains of sand, adding to a pile that grows over time.
